Embrace Responsibility
The simple statement above captures Crimson Oak's core philanthropic philosophy. We will never shun the responsibility of helping our community. Our philosophy is inspired by the story of a proud woman whose large heart dwarfed the size of her meager purse.
Crimson Oak’s Inspiration
Her story is like the story of many strong, independent women through the ages. No, not Mother Teresa or some other renowned figure. Born almost a century ago, she was the housewife of a subsistence farmer, an educator to the young and a mother of 15 children: 8 of her own and 7 others that she adopted to save from abject poverty. Her kindness and reverence for education – illustrated by her dedication to teaching young children in her rural community how to read at her local church - remained despite her Spartan lifestyle. You know her. She's in your family and community – perhaps a few generations removed or originally from a different region of the world. Like you, she juggled competing roles and was strained by limited time. Nonetheless, she found the capacity to give. Through developing your leadership ability, you will be able to have a more meaningful impact on your community. Join us in having the courage and embracing the responsibility to give.
Our Giving
For Crimson Oak Academy, giving is not seasonal but intrinsic. We routinely provide scholarships to save and cultivate leadership. Additionally, we also carefully partner with select non-profits whose mission, commitment to excellence and innovation is similar to Crimson Oak's. A profile of one such organization – Rewarding Achievement (REACH) – is below.
